Positive: Lovely quiet cottage, nice to be able to sit on the decking and enjoy the sun.
Negative: You might.not be able to fit a large car in the alloted parking space. Lovely for walking but the area is very, very quiet

Negative: Our stay at Myrtle cottage was pleasant enough. The garden was pretty and the house was clean. There was a musty smell in the kitchen which was a little off putting and the off street parking is very tight (even with just one car) Problems arose when I left my phone in the cottage on the day of departure, despite it being found straight away and being told it has been posted by guaranteed delivery (for which I was happy to pay the postage and an additional goodwill payment) the phone never arrived when promised The chain of communication seems poor between Sykes the holiday company, the owner and the cleaner. After many conservations in which I had been told the phone had been posted only to find it hadn't I would drive back to the town we'd holidayed at (a 5 hour drive ) to pick it up myself at a place/time convenient for whoever had my phone - yes I was that desperate. I was told this wasn't possible as the phone had been posted that morning, I later found out this was not the case. I believe now my phone has finally posted and 8 days on I should get it back tomorrow. I have read this review to one of the many Sykes advisors and Bill's response was 'It's not being the best of service!?! (and there's only so much hold music someone can listen to without going slightly mad)
Summary: Reasonable stay,beware if anything goes wrong during your stay a swift resolution is not guaranteed.
